How expertshare collects, processes, and protects personal data across the ecosystem.
Who we are
expertshare is operated by (to be completed before launch). For full company details see our Imprint.
Data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform and provide the service you requested:
- Account data (name, email, role, organization) when you create an Identity on the platform
- Content you publish inside Containers (remains owned by you and your organization)
- Usage data (pages viewed, features used) for platform improvement, anonymized where possible
- Communication you send via contact forms or support requests
- Cloudflare Web Analytics in cookieless mode — no personal data, no cookies
How we use data
We use collected data to deliver and improve the platform, authenticate users, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data. We do not profile users for third-party advertising.
Legal basis
Processing is based on legitimate interest (Art. 31(2) Swiss FADP) and contractual necessity (Art. 31(1) Swiss FADP). For EU residents, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) apply additionally.
Your rights
Under Swiss FADP and GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you,
- request correction or deletion of your data,
- restrict or object to certain processing,
- data portability (receive your data in a structured format),
- withdraw consent at any time.

Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. Optional cookies (analytics, preferences) are loaded only after explicit consent. You can decline cookies without losing access to the platform.
Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as legally required. Contact form inquiries are deleted at most 24 months after processing. Server logs are anonymized after 30 days. Organizations control retention of content stored within their Containers.
International transfers
Data is primarily hosted in (to be completed before launch). Any transfers outside the EEA use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
